Frustrating. Doesnt work.

Ive had this app for nearly 3 years. The design is gorgeous — and thats important to me.

But it has never worked properly outside my home. I cant tell you how many tens of hours Ive spent troubleshooting this. I spent days on it, back in late 2010 — and I finally gave up.

Recently I thought Id try again, hoping the kinks had been worked out — or that at least the solutions to problems would have been better documented by now.

But no.

By the way, prior to buying Screens, Id used RemoteTap — which worked perfectly. I used it both in my home and miles away over 3G. It was flawless — but the developers of RemoteTap abandoned it, forcing me to find a replacement.

I bought Screens, because it had the most attractive, "Mac-like" interface. But It. Has. Never. Worked. And their support is useless. The help documents and knowledge base are a joke. Documents are outdated. Explanations (while well-intioned) are incomplete. One page seemingly contradicts another.

3 years of this app — and it has never worked.
